This week we started our writing I Heard A Wisper But No One Was There, this is my introduction.
As Isla Rushed through the woods she heard a whisper as she looked around but no one was there, then all of a sudden there was a huge thump. Isla had blood running down one leg and the other leg was all bruised. she thought for a second and said to herself “I’ll get to the picnic with Harmony and then we can put some bandages on my legs…”

My name is Meia Crossman. I am a year five student in your Kereru class.I am writing to you because I am resigning from Kaniere school. I will be resigning on the 24th of June 2024.
I have so many memories here at Kaniere School. One time me and my friends were playing tag in the fort and I was on top of a stump and I slipped but a bush broke my fall. I remember the dance club and I also remember performing at pet day. Cross Country day Tara and me were Competing to get first but then I slipped and fell but put my arms up to block her. When we were at Tui camp and we played spotlight, our team won.When me ,Tara,Indi and Sophie my BFFs were down by the stump making potions then the teachers would come and the teachers would run .Those were some of my memories.
I am leaving because I am moving to Paris because there is a junior olympics. Everything that I place I get 100 thousand dollars and it goes for one year. I am excited. I can’t wait to get away from the boys.But if I want to go I need to make two hundred dollars so I can fly over to Paris.
I hope you will be good with the boy being naughty and stuff.

Kia ora, My name is Meia. I am in Year 5/6 at Kaniere School. My favourite subject is everything. My hobbies are Baking,drawing, having fun and I like to play netball. One fun fact about me is I like to play sports.
What is one fun fact about you?
Today we Started a thing called the potato Olympics. The Potato Olympics is where we each have a potato and there are ten events. Today we did a Potato Dance Off. Potato Dance Off is where we have to spin our potato around on a table and time how long it spins for. We got three tries and our best score would be our score, my score was three. I enjoyed time keeping others potatoes, and watching them. I found it hard keeping the potato on the desk. 1st place got 20 points, 2nd got 15 points and 3rd place got 10 points, there were also got 5 bonus points for sportsmanship, growth mindset and participating.Tomorrow we have potato darts, potato darts is were we have three hula hoops on the ground and we have to stand behind a cone and try through our potatoes into the hoops and we only get three throughs at each hula hoop.My technique is to through under arm.
