Today we have been doing cinquan poetry.Cinquan poetry has five lines. First you have to think of and subjet like basketball and that be the tile then two adjectives they are describing words like fun and hard. Next you have to put three verbs and them are doing words like runing, dribling and scoring. Last you have to make a four word sentence about basketball and put on the last sentence what it is.This is my cinquan poetry.
Yesterday on Wednesdy Piwakawaka went to the Hokitika beach for a beach clean up. I brought two bags there for me, Tara, Indi and Sophie to use. When we got there we got a little play well we were waiting for some other people to get there. Well we were waiting, we was looking on the footpath for some glass. At the end all of the class collected 190 bits of glass, 203 bits of plastic and some other stuff all togther we found about 750 bits of rubbish. We went there to save lots of rubbish from going into the sea. It was really fun at the beach. If you went to the beach how much rubbish do you think you would pick up?
Today we did an cybersmart challeneg. We have been doing all about me poster.We learnt to not share all of our information to other poeple. What would your all about me poster be?
This is my reading task for the week. We had a book called what a disaster it was about a container ship called Rena it crashed on its way into the port. We were learning to find the main ideas in a text.
Past the year we have been making name art. We first had to get a pice of paper and fold it in have and then fold it the other way then rotate it 90 degress and fold it half way and do that with the other side. Then you have to wite you’re name or what ever you what in one box then rotate it and do it in all the other boxs and coler it in and it could look like some of these. Have you ever made this before

Yesterday it was swimming sports for the senior school. I did three races my first race was one leth backstrok then it was one leth freestile a the last race was two leth backstrok. For one leth backstrok I thing I came 2nd,in freestile I mite of came tied 2nd and two leth backstrok I thing I came 4th.
Today we have been doing school swimming. I had to swimmg some leths of freestile, dofin dives and backstrok. My favrourte was backstrok and my legs were really sore after it.
A few days ago we started school aging it was alot diftrint. I was in the next class up. Today we had school swimming it was alot of hard work. In my class I sit next to Max and Luke.
We have been making pet day projects for pet day on Tuesday 13 December.
First we had to plan it in a book. Then we had to write and draw evrything. Next we had to outline everything with vivid. After that we had to stick the pictures of our pets. Finially we had to colour it in.
What would you want to bring to pet day?
A few weeks ago Ruma Tui went on school camp we went gold panning there, we built huts there we even played spot light. My favourite was going to the pool.
